In this episode, Dean Newlund and Phyllis Haynes discuss:

  • Being a present listener and not being easily distracted.
  • The value of your intuition to your employer.
  • Do you need intuition to survive in the workplace?
  • Making inclusion and relationships a value to your team.

Key Takeaways:

  • Engaging your intuition in your decision making is your strongest skill,
  • If you are at the top in your career your intuition is valued, but if you are working your way up it may be discredited.
  • Safety and intuition need to be utilized in unison.
  • There are different ways to get to an answer or solve a problem; be willing to listen.

“Of all the things you need in the 21st century, it’s an ability to listen to others and to listen to your own inner voices.”
